i posted a month ago about my anxiety of starting to play cricket. since then i have joined a team local to my area. Ive been borrowing my brother equipment and added a few items to it. Ive loved every session at the nets and have started to improve on the bowling and batting fronts. However my big moment came last thursday at a midweek game for thr club. They were short a player and i step in. Loved every moment even though i went out for a golden duck (LBW) and We lost. just felt like sharing and thx to the guys that gave me the courage to start. Also any tips on where to buy my own equipment (:

Congrats.

Re gear, perhaps ask around the club and see if anyone has old gear they don't want. I guess for buying it it would depend on your budget, the quality of gear, and your method of transport for getting it home.

Good on you mate. Taking the first step is always the toughest thing to do, and now you're on your way.
