I can’t say that I rated England’s overall batting performance, either at Lord’s or in the first innings of this match. Many profligate performances and against a side that had barely picked up a red ball in anger in the case of the first test.
Better catching and the first innings of this game might have resulted in a different outcome. That said I was pleased Pope crossed the line first dig. England have batted better this innings and if they do, I would hope to see at least one more ton.

No idea, Google may help you. Tbh, the whole thing screamed "betting syndicate", especially when Chris Gayle played and missed one off Sidebottom, turned around to Darren Maddy at slip to ask "will you catch it if I edge it", then did exactly that next ball (Maddy did indeed catch it).

the point of this thread is like 50’s where failure to convert is really detrimental for the team right?
feels like i often see this thread get bumped if someone just gets a 50 which doesn’t seem right
