Nuggverse saying the tax (ie no income tax) in Florida makes the amount considerable? Either way, losing him kills us. We're going to waste at least a year of Jokic's primeAllegedly offered a similar deal as well

Fitness going to be key.On paper, that's a terrific get for the Sixers.

I like George but he's not proved himself as a player who turns teams into winners, at least since his injury.

Kroenke has put away the chequebookNo one wants to come to the mile high city?
Not a new issue, our biggest FA's in my time were Kenyon Martin and Al Harrington. Is the city that bad? Do management have a bad rep in the league? No one wants to come to the mile high city?
I know but really thought things would change after the ring and because of Jokic. Not a new issue, our biggest FA's in my time were Kenyon Martin and Al Harrington. Is the city that bad? Do management have a bad rep in the league?
Too bad he's no longer really a needle mover.Klay to the Mavs now
Some cities simply aren't as attractive in their culture (read entertainment/demographics) for the predominantly black NBA playerbase.I know but really thought things would change after the ring and because of Jokic.
Management may not be as generous with their check books as some of the bigger franchises but again I thought that also changed as we slowly but surely built a contender around Jokic these past few years. Taxes, while not as bad as say California, are pretty high here, as you stated it apparently influenced KCP’s decision.
I may be biased but it’s a beautiful city…I don’t think that would keep away good players.
