Well, the opposite of the 'small hearted' thread.

Who loved the battle? Who had the dog in them?

Mentally toughest players etc.

It is a quality I value most highly. To do the business when the pressure is on, to stand tall on a sinking ship.

Viv Richards is the coolest of all, but for a big heart, Dale Steyn probably wins it. Aggressive, in your face, dangerous and always pulled up his game in important away series for SA(like Viv did for WI). Amazing attitude.

I suppose this thread is about cricketers who never quit, the mentally toughest players etc.

I always admired Anil Kumble. He would toil all day. Perhaps my fave Indian cricketer of alltime.
