2nd semi-final: India vs England | Providence

Kenneth Viljoen

International Regular
Kuldeep has 66 T20 wickets from 38 matches which is insane ..

Rashid has 120 from 114 , if Kuldeep got to 114 games with his current wicket ratio he would be on 198 T20 wickets..

Rashid record vs India :
9 wickets in 13 games @36.22

Kuldeep record vs England:
5 wickets in 2 games @11.60
This might be the first ever final in which two chinamen bowlers get to bowl, Kuldeep vs Shamsi

We're in that 'bits and pieces' rut again. Not quite the days of Alleyne, Wells, Blackwell but still pretty underwhelming.
They've been too loyal/given too much time to quite a few guys in WB. In the world cup they didn't seem to play enough ODI leading in; I would need to compare to other teams really before making that point concrete.

The test team was given a shot in the arm by the all out action style but the quality at their disposal simply isn't as good as the top two in that format.

Can't win them all , England held the ODI and T20 WC's around this time last year, think it's great they showed loyalty, it was earned now its time for a new group that's all.

Livingstone at 3 rather than Moeen would not have been a bad call
His returns are patchy but I would make Livingstone a big part of this side. His bowling is more than decent now, but batting 6/7, he's often batting like a headless chicken and never building an innings. He could do with more responsibility.

The ODI WC defence was surely the worst ever to be fair.

This tournament performance has been average.
History will show we made the SFs, more than Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand and the West Indies managed. Nobody will remember how we got there.
