I don't mind it, he was more likely to hit boundaries than Archer.Curran not taking the single is wild.
I dunno. Curran hitting two 4s to tie the match was still likelier than Archer doing that.Curran not taking the single is wild.
Yes, we need two of the four batsmen to make large contributions and that won't always happen.Should still go through. Only need to beat America convincingly. But feel this is a good but flawed England team. If they're gonna win it, a few of the big players will have to seriously turn it on.
Archer has probably not had a serious bat in years, but I would consider him the hitter of the two. Curran's SR is under 120.I dunno. Curran hitting two 4s to tie the match was still likelier than Archer doing that.
I suppose the bottom line is that it didn't work. But I can see why he did it.Archer has probably not had a serious bat in years, but I would consider him the hitter of the two. Curran's SR is under 120.
Forecast for Sunday not great though. Might need SA to beat WI to go through if it’s rained off.Should still go through. Only need to beat America convincingly. But feel this is a good but flawed England team. If they're gonna win it, a few of the big players will have to seriously turn it on.
Would've probably improved our batting and bowling today if they had.Decent game, if England had a batsman instead of Wood they might have won.
Yes. I think we can still win it but it can go badly wrong too.Yes, we need two of the four batsmen to make large contributions and that won't always happen.
Think this is a tad harsh on Moeen and especially Livingstone.Yes, we need two of the four batsmen to make large contributions and that won't always happen.
It is on pitches were you can hit through the line. Not on slow pitches were it takes time for new batsmen to find their groove.Kinda throws out the accepted line of thinking that chasing 2 runs/ball in the last 8 or so overs is imminently doable in T20s. Can't afford to let the required rate go much above 8 rpo at all.
