Match #45- Super Eights, England vs South Africa(D), Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium, Saint Lucia-- June 21st- Group 2

Maybe we didn't make best use of the bowlers we had out there. No overs from Livingstone is looking like a mistake.
I just don't understand why you need bowlers from 7-11 in this side when you have Ali and Livingstone. You can easily accommodate Duckett if you think Jacks is out of nick.

Brook striking them well and even striking a couple away from the fielders.

If he can keep going England might be a chance.

Accurate bowling on sluggish decks like this in T20 is a big challenge for batsmen. Especially when chasing.
Kinda throws out the accepted line of thinking that chasing 2 runs/ball in the last 8 or so overs is imminently doable in T20s. Can't afford to let the required rate go much above 8 rpo at all.

Definitely a pitch where the PP is doubly important. England needed a fast start. Been very hard work since. SAF to their credit been generally on the money too.
