^ as an addendum, given the good bowling stocks, once Pakistan do sort the batting out, they can surge back up the competitiveness ratings. They are just too cautious up top and frankly s*** in the MO - they need new blood and to scrap those who just don't have it. It'll take a WC cycle or 2 but it is necessary.

A match is scheduled, but rain is expected to start in three hours. The concern is whether the ground can adequately drain the water that is already present.

Well they just said the ICC has confirmed the latest a 5 over game can be played starts at 2:16 pm. I'm not staying up another 2 hours waiting for that lol

The storm over the last few days was a bit unusual. While daily rain this time of year is normal, it usually lasts about 30 minutes, clears up and leaves sunny skies in its wake. Even Hurricanes are typically one day events. This was a 3-4 day storm. High level outdoor sporting events happen all the time throughout Florida.

USA deserve to go through, Pakistan deserve to go out. Pakistan need a huge reboot. New players suited to the new era. The team may fail for a while but it's better to let youngsters grow than persist with the crap it's fielding now.
