Stokes with 2-10 this morning so far. Bowling very well.

Wasn't at his best at Blackpool despite his fifer. So very good signs for England.

Love how marnus opened the batting for 1 game, made a 100, then promptly went back down to #3. Massive big dick energy from the quirky poindexter.

Well Surrey will probably still do their thing bit this is quite fun right now.

Hampshire gone full all rounder in this match. Can't where to see where Organ bats, could genuinely be anywhere between 1 and 10.

A tail that doesn't even begin is a strong strategy against Surrey.

Pitch or overheads the factor today? Shame we didn't have more favourable conditions in our game against yourselves.

Yeah the pitches have been awful up until this game. Looked setup for spin so this afternoon has definitely been a surprise, Abbott still just such a great bowler.

Be interesting to see how Slurrey win this.

Somerset start looks good compared to them.

Pretorious did this a couple of times for us last season. Albeit with a fair few more runs on the board.

Lovely cut from Leach off Stokes there.

Well your boys are generally a good side, and they seem to be regaining form after their iffy start to the season. As you mentioned in another post, your Abbott really is a very fine bowler. Surrey's batting isn't at its best right now. Sibley's form has tailed away after a decent start. Pope's been out of sorts for all but one innings this season. Foakes hasn't made many either. And Lawrence has only had one good game, but I don't expect any sympathy there, and quite rightly too. A stronger side than Worcestershire (apologies @chris.hinton ) would have seen us off in our previous match. And I've always said that any comments about the CC being a foregone conclusion were wide of the mark if some of the other sides got their act together to a greater extent than we saw last season.

It looks like your openers have taken the eminently sensible decision to see off the new ball without worrying about the run-rate at this stage.

They do, frequently crack myself up.
If you can find a spare moment amidst the general hilarity, maybe check how everyone else here manages to discuss the domestic game without being a charmless nurk. Read and learn mate.

Nah

Anyway Pretorius out with a concussion, Ball not a bad replacement, Durham struggling, Somerset can hopefully not be in a bad position here, come the end of the day.

Hopefully not jinxing him, but this seems a good time to watch Durham's Ollie Robinson on the live stream.
