I think Dhananjaya Silva can only work if he opens the batting in white ball cricket, he's more of a touch player than a power hitter ..
In saying that, if the wickets are a bit on the slow side, his off spin will come in very handy and he's an excellent fielder..
Exactly which is why DDS shouldn't be in the middle order , if he can't open he shouldn't play T20 cricketThey already have Pathum for that
Is he the Sri Lankan counterpart to Roston 'Infinity Gauntlet' Chase?Exactly which is why DDS shouldn't be in the middle order , if he can't open he shouldn't play T20 cricket
Hmm I rate DDS in Test cricket , he scores tough runs and now he's even the skipper..Is he the Sri Lankan counterpart to Roston 'Infinity Gauntlet' Chase?
i think he’s better than ChaseIs he the Sri Lankan counterpart to Roston 'Infinity Gauntlet' Chase?
A lot better in Tests , but Chase actually averages more in odi cricket (26 ) than DDS (25) and they both have strike rates in the 70's ..i think he’s better than Chase
No doubt about this…comparatively speaking, as in strength of teams and how skillful the Sri Lankans are…i think he’s better than Chase
