After best 5 teams are selected, we will use those teams to decide the winner of the draft, sorry if it's not what you're used to, but as a participant I felt that something had to be done after the draft ended nearly weeks ago and no response from the draft mod on the thread.

The only one from my team who I think is relatively unknown is Frank "The Dusty Don" Roro, so :
Frank Roro is the greatest black African batsman of all time. He was the first African to score 100 centuries in Grade level matches, that too, at an average over 100, in a career spanning 17 years. He has 20 centuries in Provincial cricket, which makes the bulk of the 3000 runs he scored (at an average around 100); and led Transvaal to the title in 6 of the 9 times he played. He achieved it in underfunded turf pitches, where a team total of 400 runs has been reached 3 times, in a competition which ran for over 7 decades. Often times he scored over 2/3 of Transvaal's runs; some the best of those includes his 1934 Final score against Border, 95 out of 127; and in the 1951 Final against Western Province, 102 out of 137. At 5'8, he had excellent eyes and was lighting fast on his footwork. A fast scorer, he was brave enough to leave his crease against pacers in the turf, but his true excellence lied in backfoot, known especially for his hooks and pulls. He was also a great fielder and a leg spinner capable of playing on that alone.

Denys Hobson is widely regarded as one of the two best South African spinners from the isolation era. A leg spinner, he was selected to play in the WSC, but like Pollock; can't make it due to not playing enough County.

Neil Rosendorf was a lefthander top order batsman who played for Orange Free State for 17 years after debuting at 16 in 1962, and was considered one of the best players of his generation. In 1969 he was named one of SA's 5 players of the year and was unlucky not to play international cricket as isolation started when he was 25. He played 70 1st class matches and scored over 5,000 runs @ 42.5.

Kevin Curran, the father of Sam, Tom, and Ben, was considerably better than all of them. He was an aggressive FM seam bowling allrounder/MOB. Cricinfo calls him "one of the most effective overseas players in English cricket in the 1980s", while Cricbuzz described him as a "bonafide superstar" in county cricket and "one of the finest cricketers produced by Zimbabwe". He scored over 1,000 runs a season 5 times and took lots of wickets. Unfortunately Zimbabwe hadn't qualified for tests and he would've needed 10 years to qualify for England.
Overall he scored over 15,000 fc runs at 36.9 (25 100s & 83 50s) and took 605 wickets (15 5-fers & 4 10-fers) at 27.7. He sadly passed away aged just 53 while jogging.

Michael Neser is a current player who plays for Queensland in the Sheffield Shield and Brisbane Heat in the BBL. He was born in SA but moved to Australia when aged 10.
He is a bowling allrounder who is unfortunate that his career coincides with Cummins, Hazelwood, and Starc (and Boland) (plus Marsh and Green as allrounders) so has only played 2 tests for Australia and despite a test bowlimg average of 16.71 is unlikely to play any more as is now 34. He is a hard hitting batsman and top quality fielder too. For any other country Neser would probably have played far, far more tests. From 104 1st class matches he has 362 wickets at 24.12 and 3,624 runs at 29.

Played in 2 World Cups - did quite well in 1983, didn't do a lot in 1987.
