isn’t that the ultimate argumentThat's not an argument, lol
But yes, he was skillful.
Same with Walsh. Unfortunately both Pollock and Walsh are not that highly rated in CW.Bloody underrated that Shaun Pollock. With his production he should be higher. Absolute superstar
Agreed@Line and Length I think it is better to continue with the 3,2,1 system. It is not right to suddenly change the measurement system in the middle of a poll.
Oh no people disagree with my opinion on a player! I’m gonna call it a joke!I appreciate the efforts by the administrator. But this exercise is becoming a bit of a joke.
A spinner who took 3.6 wickets per game (144 wickets in 40 tests @ 77.6 SR) is being picked ahead of better spinners and countless better fast bowlers
Wasim Akram already went a lot of players ago and Verity is being voted for now you dolt.Wasim Akram at No.11 is absurd.
One one hand some of you are claiming that stats matter and that Akram couldn't quite get it done to the same extent as others like Hadlee etc (mostly due to Pakistan's atrocious fielding)
While on the other hand you have picked Verity who only took 3.6 wickets per match as a spinner and that too at a high SR of 77.6. (144 wickets in 40 tests @ 77.6 SR)
He's been picked ahead of better spinners and countless better fast bowlers.. I stopped taking this exercise seriously very early on and started ignoring it and I have come back and it's only got worse.
You keep voting and keep justifying stats in one case and ignore stats in other cases as per your convenience.
lol Akram at 11 is absurd apparently… First off nobody is going to agree with all the rankings - I certainly don’t.Wasim Akram at No.11 is absurd.

The fact he's using someone whose already been voted many places above him to moan is monumentally ridiculous.lol Akram at 11 is absurd apparently… First off nobody is going to agree with all the rankings - I certainly don’t.
The merits and weaknesses of Verity have been discussed at length in recent comprison threads, if you’d care to read them.
It honestly sounds like you just can’t handle people having different opinions to you, perhaps you’re the one who needs to not be taken seriously, rather than the thread.
I would accept this if Verity was the original vote for all the 11 voters like you did.. But just go back and check how many and who edited votes to Verity to get him ahead of Ashwin and you will know that it is not right.lol Akram at 11 is absurd apparently… First off nobody is going to agree with all the rankings - I certainly don’t.

Oh good, now you’re going to bring this into it. If you don’t like the thread and think the rankings are meaningless, shut the **** up and ignore the thread, its not hard.I can see the pattern of voting -thats what is a joke. English/Aus voters going for SENA bowlers, Indian voters going for SC bowlers. Thats where it's become a joke.
The joke started on the first day of voting when one voter put Ashwin ahead of every other bowler, past and present.I can see the pattern of voting -thats what is a joke. English/Aus voters going for SENA bowlers, Indian voters going for SC bowlers. Thats where it's become a joke.
