Does the IPL seem more amped up this year or what? Yeah T20 sucks and it's loud and vulgar but there are palpable big-match vibes to these games so far. Of course it will go on for too long as always but it helps that the Indian audience has well and truly bought into the premise. And it can't but affect the players in the middle, makes it a touch more than just a big payday.

I've felt the opposite for some reason. I usually like watching the first hour or two before bed but haven't done that this time. Tuning in today though because got **** all to do.

The Hardik hate feels quite mean spirited tbh. Also not a fan of people using chapri to describe him.

Not good enough from dhawan so far. Only 1 wicket down on what is clearly a good deck and he's 25(26). He could accelerate from here, but this start is still unacceptable, especially when you have so much batting to come.

He was fine for the earlier era but he never adapted. Rohit has at least tried to improvise. If these guys had done all this circa 2017, we would have probably had at least one ICC Trophy by now IMO.

Jadeja was banned from IPL for 1 year for trying exactly what Hardik Pandya did . If any other franchise did what MI did with Pandya then Pandya would have been banned for 1 year .
