GT's got two extremely talented players, Sai Sudarshan and Sai Kishore.

I have a soft spot for SLAs and Kishore appears to have perfected his craft, a classical SLA who uses variations very well. Another modern day SLA who does this is our very own, Gudakesh Motie.

I don't have to say anything about Sudarshan, I already know that he's legit.

Feels like MI need a couple more top overseas players. Or maybe the good ones are injured or something.

Does the IPL seem more amped up this year or what? Yeah T20 sucks and it's loud and vulgar but there are palpable big-match vibes to these games so far. Of course it will go on for too long as always but it helps that the Indian audience has well and truly bought into the premise. And it can't but affect the players in the middle, makes it a touch more than just a big payday.

Not good enough from dhawan so far. Only 1 wicket down on what is clearly a good deck and he's 25(26). He could accelerate from here, but this start is still unacceptable, especially when you have so much batting to come.

It's probably the most tactically intriguing part of this format. Doesn't matter how impressive your SR looks at the end (cough KL Rahul cough) if you've slowed down the innings at crucial phases.
