Now again you're just needlessly picking arguments for the sake of arguing and wasting all of our time here in the process.
Right, so calling you out is needless but when you call others out for rating Ashwin highly it's not? Pick a lane please, either accept that this is fine for the thread or leave, since you said earlier you've given up the ghost.

Relax. We are all about to reach a sort of consensus here. Now is not the time to pick fights.

You clearly don't like the consensus being reached though. It's all deflection or complaining about people's evaluations not matching your own.

No - there’s consensus as long as people are making idiotic arguments comparing Ashwin to Lyon or Kumble.

I will go on record and say he isa top 4 spinner of all time.

Whether that makes someone an ATG or not is a lame argument because in the eyes of the entire cricket world it does.

Samewith Anderson. A pace bowler with 700 wickets is an ATG, a freak, someone who has delivered an insane amount of value to England. It’s only in this pace where someone is going to parse his stats and argue that somehow he’s not one of the greatest players to grace the game.

The entire cricket world doesn't see Ashwin as a top 4 ever spinner, sorry. They would still be comparing him with Lyon and Kumble.

But glad you see the premise of this thread as lame. It is. Basically Ashwin fanboy pearl clutching for 18 pages.

subs isn't anti-India any more than those against him in this thread (and all others) are excessively pro-India.

You just don't get along because you're opposite extremists

I wouldn't say Subzi is anti-Indian, he's anti-cricket. Doesn't know what he's talking about, doesn't seem to enjoy it and doesn't really want to comprehend the game he is watching. Hardly a fan of the game.
If you're bitter don't spread those germs around.
