I asked that to clarify to see if we are all actually putting Ashwin around the same level but calling it ATG or ATVG.

He has outbowled Lyon in Australia only if you consider the games where Ashwin plays well and ignore Lyons entire home career there, which is probably what you are doing.

And it's pretty clear Ash has outbowled Lyon in Australia in the only fair comparison available - games both played in.

Sadly simple concepts like that are beyond the reach of the two insecure idiots who keep harping on lies to justify their biases.

This argument is so bad I have to assume you are joking.

First off, in Australia, they average pretty much the same in games they played. But it is also highly misleading. For example, in the 2014/15, Ashwin wasn't in the 1st test but the rest of the series, and that 1st test is when Lyon took 14 wickets for victory against India. Similarly, Ashwin wasnt in the 2018 series after the 1st test, yet in the 2nd test, Lyon again bowled Australia to victory in Perth with 8 wickets again. Without those we are going to assume that Lyon and Ashwin really have parity. And of course ignore Lying entire home career.

Basically, no one thinks Ashwin is a top level ATG. He’s an Anderson level ATG (for those that consider Anderson an ATG).

And subzi doesn’t think Ashwin is an ATG, because he’s got an icy more exclusive definition, but does think he’s an ATVG.

So in short no one disagrees on his placement - what are we arguing about then?

No, it's there alright. Else you wouldn't be saying ATG vs ATVG and so on. If it isn't there you wouldn't be discussing this topic at all.

Subzi being an idiot, duh. His standards are whack and he doesn't like to engage properly when asked to do so. This is clearly idiotic behaviour.

Yes. I have been saying the same a few pages ago. He compares with Anderson is that sense.

Now again you're just needlessly picking arguments for the sake of arguing and wasting all of our time here in the process. I suggest you take a few days off to cool down and reflect on your behavior.
