It’s a close one. Ponting never had a truly great series like Dravid did in England in 2011 but he probably still wins this.

Agreed. Definitely think Ponting is one of the guys who gets overrated on this forum, in this case due to muh aggression. Great peak, but it didn't last that long and was in an exclusively batting friendly era. Had great batting support which means there was realtively less pressure on him compared to others too.

Easier home conditions than Dravid, Sanga, Kane, Kallis etc too

You want the short answer or the long one? The short is yes. The long is that it's post 2011 WC, I was 8-9 years old and I hardly remember anything. So I really am not basing it on eye Test.

Post his career, Ponting strikes me as pretty decent too
