Yep that was so so cruel.**** the shot clock there, what a load of garbage. Just ****ing reset it?
Only just saw that, the French player advancing when the ball fell over and being told "It's a Penalty so you can't charge" - should have been a retake, even if he retreated when the actual kick happened.Didn't the French illegally chase down the kick too?
The way the Aussie super sides are playing this year says otherwise, but the Kiwi sides (Hurricanes the exception) have been dreadful.Acknowledging the game is dead in Aus
Think this was always a bit of hot air.Full credit to Italy, should be 2 wins now (should of been given a retake v France).
Hard pressed kicking them out now.
Madness, especially as it was only fifteen yards upfield. Why would you kick the ball away with 90 seconds to go?
Probably because inside your own 22 is not the best place to play out time. Fantastic match though and I thought England just about deserved it. Not sure where that performance came from but it was several levels higher than anything they’ve done so far in this tournament. Why would you kick the ball away with 90 seconds to go?
Having the ball in your own 22 is surely more preferable to giving the opposition a lineout on halfway and putting pressure on your defence to not concede penalties?Probably because inside your own 22 is not the best place to play out time. Once again, no team has achieved back to back slams.
Although if any team would fancy holding out and securing a turnover it'd probably be Ireland. Still, I think they could've run the clock down further.Having the ball in your own 22 is surely more preferable to giving the opposition a lineout on halfway and putting pressure on your defence to not concede penalties?
