Bees manged to lose 1-0 there. We did have very few fit footballers at the time but still.
If you had 11, you should still have been able to get the job done!!

Portsmouth allowed Derby to win one of their 11 points against them in 2007, although it was the opening day of the season and no one knew how bad they'd be at that point.

As bad as Sheff Utd are, they did sell a load of key players at the start of the season, yet still have the same number of points as Burnley!! What's their excuse?

I'll never forgive Newcastle for giving them 4 that year. Just imagine if they had only got 7?

Burnley spunked most of their budget on a League 1 standard keeper off the back of a good Under 21 tournament. He looked poor against my lot same as the Southampton keeper last year, huge step up from League 1 to Prem when you are bang average.

Yeah, Portsmouth had Bazunu for a year in League 1 on loan from City. He clearly had talent but there was no way he was a Prem level keeper....and it soon showed.

It is a strange coincidence that their domination of the Champions League between 2014 and 2018 stopped when VAR was adopted.
i dont remember any particularly egregious decisions going their way during that period, did they happen?

other than Buffon’s trashcan of a heart meme moment that is

I don’t remember many dodgy decisions, just bizarre strokes of luck like Karius getting knocked on the head and turning into a potato.

WTF are Liverpool doing with this line up?

Do they think they are playing Man U not City on Sunday?

Well Van Dijk had to come on as Gomez and Konate got injured. Salah probably needs minutes and rest of big players taken off as precautions for Sunday.

Been a bizarre game. Could have been 4-6 easily.
