Things aren't going to be good if Counties are being sold off to IPL clubs
Very good aggressive batter, although maybe getting past it physically. His FC average, which has recently reached its apogee, is inflated by cashing in from #5 but in any other era he'd be a test mainstay for NZ. Pretty good in T20s. Be interesting to see how he goes.32 year old Tom Bruce: all formats for Lancashire this coming season. Thoughts anyone?
More likely to succeed in red ball than white ball?
Stats ok when pro for Netherfield but not for Sussex in 2018 in T20
Seen a fair bit of him playing in New Zealand domestic cricket. Looked pretty good in 4 day and 50 over. Could be in that county cricket sweet spot of being not quite good enough for international cricket.32 year old Tom Bruce: all formats for Lancashire this coming season. Thoughts anyone?

He has had an odd career trajectory however things would be dull if everyone followed the same pattern.Gleeson capped for England at 34 (not by Lancashire), told by Lancs no longer required so turns up with a T20 contract at Warwickshire.
Shame about the failure for Brian Bennett, who's also been in decent form.Johnathan Campbell, Alistair's son, impressive for Zim A. Ainsley Ndlovu also put in a good shift with the ball.
Campbell hasn't been particularly successful in Zim domestics but he may be having a breakout year.
Yes and the Zim fans in the comments in their usual way are bagging Marumani and the others for failing too.Shame about the failure for Brian Bennett, who's also been in decent form.
It's quite incredible that pitch has still be able to play cricket on despite the issues faced.Worcestershire's first two home county championship matches of the 2024 season have been moved from New Road to Kidderminster due to a fifth flood of the winter.
Their first two matches were already scheduled as away games which the county ask for every year incase this situation arises.
Matches are,
Apr 19-22 v Durham
Apr 26-29 v Notts.
First games at Kidderminster since 2019 when two matches were transferred there due to flooding.
I believe the challenge they face is that, because of the frequent flooding, New Road cannot be sold for development to fund a move to a new site. It's quite incredible that pitch has still be able to play cricket on despite the issues faced.
I know Giles has mooted they may have to move away from New Road. Will be some expense when counties like this aren't even wanted by the ECB.
