Jaiswal - grubber
Rohit - decent ball but kinda soft
Gill - good ball
Patidar - good ball played poorly
Jaddu - **** shot
Sarfraz - didn't see it but sounds like a great catch and good ball
Ashwin - grubber

Can't blame the batting too much

We lost it in the field. Can blame Rohit / Ashwin / the general think-tank. We always look so lost when a partnership forms, this was another case. First Root/Foakes then Root/Robinson.

Who is the VC with Bumrah not playing?
Sending Jadeja in ahead of Sarfaraz after such a long bowl (30+ overs) was a foolish move. India were better off keeping to the batting order or even keeping him back for a bit to give him more rest.

Also, the selection was off - Patidar clearly wasn't ready yet and resting Bumrah for the IPL of all things is just moronic.

I think resting bumrah played a huge part in preparing pitch like this. They were worried without bumrah if they get stuck at least spinners can come into play.
Then why not pack your batting a bit more, or pick someone really anyone other than Patidar? Heck Axar+Sundar would've probably added a lot more here.

Well RGS & Dravid aren't the brightest incandescent bulbs out there, that should be beyond doubt now
