Not sure the logic of keeping Jimmy on as the sacrificial lamb here with 2 Tests still to come. Nevermind that he deserves better. Not good team strategy either.

Anderson has never been comfortable when batsmen have looked to hit him all over the park, maybe a ploy teams should use more often against him.

It would be absolutely hilarious if India bat on a little too long here and then England go full SA style block.
Pretty sure this only worked for SA a few times and they had some renowned defensive batsman in those teams.

I hope they don't declare too soon. Because if England try to go at their usual 5 an over, they have so many overs to spare, 150 or so left now and "only" 490 ahead
