@Red_Ink_Squid was depressingly accurate. It is so similar to Lords last year.
Hardly. Bumrah was brilliant in the morning without the rewards to show for it.Siraj outbowled Bumrah massively in this innings , what a confidence booster for him
might as well make root captain again and bring back silverwood95/8 after Joe Root's dismissal..
I'd like to thank our MVP Joe Root for allowing this poor Indian side a tiny lead.95/8 after Joe Root's dismissal..
Even after this performance you are calling India poor than this English team so worse that they shouldn't even be playing club cricket. Bunch of arrogant clowns, India showed them where they and their bazball belongs!I'd like to thank our MVP Joe Root for allowing this poor Indian side a tiny lead.
Good morning and a happy new yearVery drunk right now. Still weighing up a 4am alarm. Up for 2nd session more likely. By which time I expect Duckett to be on 250 and Root 123. Fkn go on the Bazball warriors
People underestimate how hard it is to overcome a 400 + first innings deficit ..That’s a really encouraging effort after getting plastered yesterday and losing Ashwin. Great character from the bowlers.
Gifts from both teams seems to be the way the series pivots I guess, whether it’s through dropped catches or dumb shots.
**** youGood morning and a happy new year
agreed 100%The early spells from Bumrah and Kuldeep in the morning set everything up yet they came away with the least reward. Weird how that works sometimes.
This time Ben Stokes will finish the story in the 4th innings though@Red_Ink_Squid was depressingly accurate. It is so similar to Lords last year.
That psychology isn't really the problem for Bazball tbh. They seem to think they can catch anything. It's more the 50/50 on whether their combative style is going to look brutal and thrilling or shambolic and wrong-headed. We've had a taste of both this innings.People underestimate how hard it is to overcome a 400 + first innings deficit ..
It allows a team to absorb pressure and still be in the game no matter the pitch because you look up at the scoreboard when you are 200 for 2 and think damn.."We still need to double our score just to take a lead , and we batting last on this"
