That’s a really encouraging effort after getting plastered yesterday and losing Ashwin. Great character from the bowlers.

Gifts from both teams seems to be the way the series pivots I guess, whether it’s through dropped catches or dumb shots.

I'd like to thank our MVP Joe Root for allowing this poor Indian side a tiny lead.
Even after this performance you are calling India poor than this English team so worse that they shouldn't even be playing club cricket. Bunch of arrogant clowns, India showed them where they and their bazball belongs!

People underestimate how hard it is to overcome a 400 + first innings deficit ..

It allows a team to absorb pressure and still be in the game no matter the pitch because you look up at the scoreboard when you are 200 for 2 and think damn.."We still need to double our score just to take a lead , and we batting last on this"

That psychology isn't really the problem for Bazball tbh. They seem to think they can catch anything. It's more the 50/50 on whether their combative style is going to look brutal and thrilling or shambolic and wrong-headed. We've had a taste of both this innings.
