**Official** English Football Season 2023/24

1 goal all season for Everton last year. Has now scored in his last 5 games, absolute hero.

Everything else about yesterday was rather inevitable though. Am still in the 'we will be fine camp' but got to get through this horrible run of fixtures.
Yeah, reckon there's at least three teams worse than the Bees.

Yer Wolfs looks a big game though in light of what comes next. Seems like about the fiftieth time you've played them just lately too.

Ominous signs from City last night, it could've been 6 or 7. Haaland barely looks fit and is clearly going to improve, but KdB looks on it now and was a threat every time he had the ball.

Brentford will be fine though. Maupay and Toney looked a decent little partnership and they caused problems, there are plenty worse teams in the division than them.

****ing hell
I usually wouldn't stoop to such remarks but the pettiness of repeatedly trying to make it public knowledge that you've got someone on 'ignore' says a lot. I'm not even sure I've interacted with these posters.

Anyway, it is 2024 and we're on the internet, if we all agreed with each other's opinions something would be very wrong.

Back to the football chat... Villa v United is going to be some game. I'm also intrigued to see how Arsenal get on against West Ham after the high of beating Liverpool. Potential banana skin.

Brotherman, I was alerted to this post so I'm gonna reply to it then leave you to your business.

One of your first forays into this thread was to come in and slag me off and question me as a fan without know a ****ing thing about me. Why would I spend my time interacting with you?

You have jogged my memory. Something along the lines of nearly supporting Chelsea and posting here since 2005. Let's not go back over that old ground because the mods apparently didn't enjoy it too much last time.

Anyway turn off those alerts and leave me to my business, much appreciated.

p.s good luck for the rest of the season, hope you guys win UCL and finish behind us in the league. :D

So...the football in England. Pretty neat right now, isn't it?
Apparently not I keep on reading on internet, that Var has ruined the game.

It took Will Grigg to get transferred to non-league to make that ****ing song accurate at last.

When was the last time that the three teams relegated from the top flight all won promotion straight back up in the same year?

What about the fact the 3 going down could be replaced by the 3 coming back up. Surely a weird one and a distinct possibility.

So we would have a repeat of the 22/23 premier league
