Looking forward to another Paterson masterclass.

EDIT: Yes! His first ball is a classic heave from a different time zone.

EDIT2: Boo! 2nd ball is a nicely timed hit, albeit backing away.

No, no, no. This is far too accomplished. Disappointing. I'm turning off.

These sorts of "batters" are so frustrating as they inevitably get a few runs putting guys who actually try to shame.

Also lol at de Swardt just gifting Paterson the strike over and over

Well, fun while it lasted and a shame Jamieson couldn't take the last wicket.

Positives for South Africa? Not many - Bedingham a bit, Brand a bit (but for bowling) and de Swardt a bit. Moreki was an honest trier. Not much else to write home about.

The difference in class showed at the end. NZ way too good for this side. Kane is a joy to watch and Rachin is a gun.

Bedingham and Moreki basically. A solid Test batsman and a decent injury cover

I suppose Moore and Olivier were the most disappointing for SA. Most of the others were earnest triers that didn't lack for effort and made contributions.

Entire batting lineup was a disappointment twice... Except Bedingham. Bowling was as expected. I truly hope for the next Test these batsmen show something more.

Congrats to NZ for being so clinical.

I also think if your strongest format is FC you have to be really really good at it. Especially if you not experiencing SA20 and high level environments regularly like a lot of the other players not here are. It's the way cricket is going now.
