When I saw the thread title I thought of the Nathan Dumelow delivery that inspired this idea.iirc some bloke in a T20 comp -- may have been English domestic -- basically mastered a double bounce yorker. As such, they promptly banned it in the playing conditions.

I'm genuinely trying to work out how you even achieved this mechanically lolI was once opening the batting for my team, and swept the first ball of the match, a full toss on my legs, straight back to the bowler. Needless to say, I have never again opened in any game since, even in my street or at the beach.
I kinda wrote it to seem that way. It was just a top/leading edge lol.I'm genuinely trying to work out how you even achieved this mechanically lol
Memory serves it as either a low full toss or an HV, that Mohammad Yousuf spooned back to him?Vaguely remember Mark Richardsons sole test wicket to be pretty rank
Yes, but got the yips in a ridiculous way. His book details it in pretty agonising detailiirc, Richardson did start his career as a bowler, like KP. So it wasn't like he had no bowling ability.
I can relate to this. In my first game of Club cricket I volunteered to open the batting. It was a disaster. Caught behind after being struck in the chest by a bouncer.I was once opening the batting for my team, and swept the first ball of the match, a full toss on my legs, straight back to the bowler.
