For Blundell that's a deviation from the norm but for Seifert it's his MO.

That said I was literally looking up the batting records of NZ domestic wicketkeepers...

I’m not entirely sure about Blundell’s keeping tbh. For me he mostly makes it on his batting which is also the discipline where I’m primarily critical of Seifert.

His footwork in particular is not a patch on Watling's, he frequently gets himself into situations were he has to take the ball at awkward heights or way outside his eyeline. He's got good hands though which usually makes pretty good v the spinners (ironically given that drop).
