Bumrah has been my legit favorite cricketer since Tendulkar's retirement. Irrespective of whether we are winning the game or not, I always look forward to his bowling.

Whatever it takes!!!
Ok I can grant that at home he was better. The team faced many losable situations but still had the nerve to somehow win.

..

He is light years away from Dhoni as a captain, in any format.

MSD is one of the best captains we have ever had in tests at home.

So apparently the blind idiotic hatred blinds saltshakerz from not just watching cricket but also actually reading posts he is responding to.

Just checked Bashir's batting stats in case we need him.

They're not good.
Put on an amazing Bazball like 108 run 10th wicket partnership with James Rew last season. 44* at 78SR

I watched it due to hype around Rew at the time.

Dhoni was definitely a defensive captain, but people confuse 'defensive' with 'bad'. He was a good defensive captain.
No, he was pretty listless in SENA especially in 2011 when it seemed he did not get the teams he wanted, but at home he was always a very good captain. He was defensive when he needed to be on those pitches, not as a rule.

That was God level from Bumrah but he is already got some cramps in his bowling arm. Axar has looked listless inspite of being gifted a wicket. Kuldeep has been ok but nothing great, odd good deliveries notwithstanding. Ash started well but was well off his game in the last 2 or 3 overs he bowled. Mukesh might as well not be there (has a chance against Bairstow to get him LBW but somehow has this genius idea that bowling short wide filth at 130 will work here). This is gonna be a tonking. England 450/4 at stumps.

Pope gets yorked a lot, doesn't he? Both Bumrah and Cummins have got him a few times with that ball.

The good thing with Stokes is he plays as the situation demands.

Doesn't always go out to Blast it.

A lot of batsmen would have got out to that yorker from Bumrah so not sure you can blame him for that, it was more great bowling than bad batting.
