It's not a tier, from old borders to new
Then Croft should be with Roberts, Holding and Garner as that's the original pace foursome. Marshall only locked in a spot in 1984 after Roberts and Croft stopped playing

I remember being down on Anderson Cummins at the time, because he wasn't 6 foot 8 like I thought all Windies bowlers should be.

But looking back at some youtube cricket, he looked pretty good.

Canada comeback as a old man was pretty cool too.

The period with Collins, McClean etc was our lowest ebb ever.

Russell, Cottrell and Roach are not really of the same generation as the two Josephs and Seales, with Holder a touch younger. Same with Croft and Walsh etc. Also omitting Edwards while including Taylor is odd - the former played more tests. Not entirely sure what this is doing aside from being a trip down memory lane. There's some mediocre to poor players in the post-00s section. And whether the West Indies have any kind of resurgence is more dependent on whether they can find some good batsmen and somewhat stem the bleeding to T20 leagues.

Yeah, maybe in test cricket.

It was WSC that I was watching from 92/93. His record on ODIs was good.
CricketWeb rule: if format is not specified, it's tests. He had a decent one day record but was still an ordinary fast-medium who was probably inferior to Simon Davis. If you list him you need to include the likes of Vanburn Holder, Bernard Julien and Eldine Baptiste.

Also, no list of West Indian fast bowlers is complete without HHH Johnson.
