I know it's a long bow to draw but I really feel like a thing like that shows that this generation of Indian batsmen don't quite "get" Test batting yet. Just a total lack of gamesense to think that sort of single in this situation is at all a good idea

He probably would have gotten there had he not decided to run like 5m to the left for some reason. I will never understand why so many batsman refuse to just... run the shortest distance
