*Official* England in India 2023/24 #CryMoreTour

International Vice-Captain
England have put a decent total on to give them a chance but the wicket I'd doing nothing for bowlers.

Need a couple of quick wickets.

Probably been said already, but England are going to really miss Anderson's proven control and reverse swing in these conditions. Ridiculous non selection. Not hindsight either.

A lot of the Shastri love is hindsight and off the back of an extremely improbable win that's become romanticized (rightfully so). We weren't so enamored with the management before that tour.
He deserves a ton of credit for it imo, but yeah, there were plenty of mistakes over the tenure, shouldnt all be washed away by one miracle. Picking Stuart Binny over Bhuvi in a test match was a thing that happened.

Yeah but we didn’t have a youtube series from an insider who went into the details before then lol

Most of this armchair analysis from us is nonsense anyways. Who knows what goes on in the nets and behind the scenes.

Whatever it takes!!!
True but they were bad in a different way - made plenty of selection blunders
Yeah but they had a bit of method to that madness, even if the method was bad or not right quite often. Right now there is no real policy or planning or control IMO. Not what I expected when Dravid is the coach tbf.
