Glad we've shown a bit of ticker. Fair play to Pope. Serious cajones. Already his best test knock imo.

The lack of carry in the wicket suits Foakes substantially more than a fast Mumbai style turner would.

I'd have dropped him if Brook had been playing. See others of the same view

So absolutely fair play for him finally knuckling down in a difficult situation especially in the second innings.

Hope he can somehow double this.

There was basically universal low expectations for Pope, so fair play to the guy. Proving us all massively wrong here, easily his best play against spin.

Won't be enough to get us in the game, but impressive nonetheless. Template for the rest.
