Yeah it's a bit unlucky for Chanderpaul but there was a faint mark and a small spike when it hits the bat. Clearly out.

What a day it was for cricket. That last wicket I think has Australia just ahead, although they do need to bowl really well tomorrow.

Because Hawkeye is a prediction of something that might have happened rather than a determination of what actually happened

This is ridiculous. It's very plainly out under the long established protocols.

In fairness I've never known a cricketer, even the great ones, who don't shell them in the slips every now and then. I think even Mark Waugh dropped a few.

Yeah I agree, though it's usually to Lyon standing close that he has more problems because of his IMO odd technique (what else is new for Smith)

Yeah I'm nonplussed by this debate. It's as regulation a decision as they come, with bat and ball both away from body so there's no ambiguity over what the ball or bat could have hit.
