Carey could not have tried to hole out to that fielder better if he tried. Absolute gift.
It doesn't really bother me because that's the approach that works for him but yeah that did not look right at all.

Still on track for a horrible total here

Pretty dumb shot. Not sure what Carey was trying to achieve there. Smart bowling but really needed to survive until dinner.

I cannot see our tail wagging as well as the WIndies did so getting the lead under 100 will take work even on a flat deck.

Saw somewhere that the plan from now on is to start earlier (this year was late due to the WC) and have Sydney last.
****s sake
i would actually like three tests either side of new year with the last two being the day nighters, such that it’s a longer test match summer but it’s clear then they think the other way :/

I'd just like a six test summer back. Hobart and Canberra deserve something. They can maybe rotate the day nighters between the grounds.

I just get the feeling that Australia is going to take a lead here don't know why
Don't think they'll come close to a lead but they will win the match (barring weather). Especially if WI have to come out and face 15 overs or so of the new ball under lights tonight. Can't see the wicket getting worse for batting in the 4th innings either
