Boycott vs Greenidge vs Smith

Who is the best batsman out of these three?(Tests)

Another tough one.

If you look at the ICC historic best ratings, which are as good a guide as anything then its Greenidge, Smith, Boycott and as much as I loved Boycs, I wouldn't disagree with that.

You also have to take into account that Boycott could be a serious pain in the arse in the dressing room.

Whatever Sir Geoffrey is or isn't aside from batting he's superior to the other two in that regard, which is presumably the only criteria.

That was dismissive, don't think they're that far apart.
Smith was just Hayden with less productivity. He didn't even have any X factor like Sehwag of scoring absurdly fast. I mean he was still really, really good, and underrated like the other 2, but I just don't see how he's Gavaskar comparable.
