The Bevan Small recent career arc is so amazing. Following injury, established himself as CD's reserve batsman. His recall came at #4 – psych! – turns out this fallen giant bowls hand grenades. Now a bowler who can bat again.

Will Clark going from bowling all-rounder to specialist batter and Dougeh somehow improving his T20 batting record are also hilarious. Next up Clarkson's going to become a spinner and above average #9.

I always assumed it was just George then son. They also seem to think Rutherford was batting beautifully but to me it looked like he was just standing there swinging. Almost like Maxwell against Afghanistan albeit without the success

Weird to drop D Phillips. I think Parkes looks promising even if he's been poor in T20s so far, so don't mind that he's made the cut over the others.

But yeah, Otago could really use a reliable senior batter to replace Rutherford and help the under 23s grow into their roles.

It’s not even really a criticism, I can’t be the only one who thinks 100% of Elliott’s commentary sounds sarcastic
