Which is the greatest country ATG ODI XI?

You can't pick all time XIs just looking at just balance too much though. He hasn't even been regularly selected in the odi team through his career, how can we justify picking him for an all time xi.
I think there are 3 viable options:

1. Have Jadeja at 7. I don't think it's a bad choice. He performed really well this WC and is hardly ever useless in the team.
2. Have Hardik at 7. Then it would need him, Yuvraj and Sachin together to bowl the 10 overs. They're capable of that, but I am not sure whether I want that in an ATG team.
3. Have Kapil at 7 and go with Kuldeep or Zaheer. You're getting a better bowling option, but the tail is horrible now.

Jadeja has played regularly since 2019 though only missing because of injury or rotation and he has been a regular in that 2015 world cup cycle too

197 matches seems fair enough unless you are talking about Ashwin or Kuldeep

Not to mention, Ashwin has **** regularity in the ODI team.

Dhoni at 6 and having maybe the best top 3 in odis does mean you can get away with 3 more often than not

2nd's

Astle

Vincent
Mitchell
Styris
McMillan
Parore
Southee
Tuffey
Morrison
Wiseman
Fleming would be in the 3rds or 4ths, although the rest of that side is good.

The 2nds however has a few really random picks with the likes of Vincent, McMillan, Tuffey, and Wiseman.
This team is miles better especially the bowling attack and finishing:

Turner
Conway (as a batter only)
Jones
Ryder
Elliott
Latham wk
Oram
Santner
Mills
Henry
Chatfield

All these England sides without Roy opening are silly, and Putting Bell in the side ahead of him is high farce. Botham also a pretty poor pick on his record in the form, Collingwood or Craig White would be better than him..

Roy
Bairstow
Root
Kp
Morgan
Buttler
Flintoff
Swann
Gough
Willis
Underwood/Archer depending on conditions.

It's very 21st century, but we played the game so uninspiringly for so long hard to care if the likes of Hick, Lamb, Fairbrother or Knight deserve to get in, Tres would be my reserve to Roy.

Odd though, we did reach three finals in the ODI World cups, before the Morgan revolution, but ho-hum.

Morgan has a horrible World Cup record, averages less than 26. He shouldn't be anywhere near the all-time team unless he's there for captaincy.

Hick and Tres both excelled in the eras they played. Both also took like ducks to water in T20s so I have no doubts that both would excel in the modern ODI era

Just count how many years each team was in 1, 2, 3 positions (3 pts for 1st place 1 for 3rd place). Then sum it up. That would give the answer.

I would name Australia, West Indies and Sri Lanka to have best ATG ODI sides. Australia and West indies dominated for a long time, Sri Lanka was #2 - 3 for a insanely long time.
