not really sure what you're trying to achieve with this other than start a fight. How s #6 a raw attribute a fast bowler can have?

solid list tbh, not sure whether McGrath really had a specific effort ball 5-10kmh quicker though. I never really saw it. Had a decent slower ball though,

Yeah the attack needs to bowl as a pack. Variations in terms of crease positions, pace changes and subtle changes of length.Watch Ollie Robinson bowl..
On flat pitches economy is your best friend, being able to go for next to no runs will force the batsman to try something different,
Also try to change the angle ..sometimes go a bit wider on the crease, sometimes closer to the wicket ..subtle variations , if you are blessed with pace still maintain discipline but you have to sometimes bowl a length that takes the pitch out of the equation such as a Yorker delivery ..
This is exactly what England did well in 2010-11. They were helped by a wet and colder summer that assisted Anderson early on, but the victory was off the back of Broad, Bresnan and Finn bowling dry and Swann blocking an end - then, when there was a turning pitch at Adelaide, Swann was able to attack and bowl Australia out in the second innings. On Australian flat pitches, you need a spearhead who can really whack the pitch hard to get seam movement. And the rest of the attack need to bowl dry in order to keep the pressure up.
Accurate spinners and mystery spinners on flat tracks are both very important too. Mystery spin is much needed variety that can penetrate without major pitch assistance. Accurate spin can get through big overs, lock an end up to support the pace bowlers in terms of sustaining pressure and managing their workloads.
How come they could never replicate it since? Can't just be about the tactics I think it was mostly they had some guys in peak form like Cook/Trott + the bowlers executing well, coinciding with Aussie bats in bad form (Ponting/Clarke) and a very poor bowling attackThis is exactly what England did well in 2010-11. Say what you like about that team but it was a masterclass in how to compete in Australia and more teams should copy them.
