Interesting how some months (December 9, February and November 8 plus 4 others with 7) have attracted more selections than others (March and August 2 and September 3).
I literally have no clue which months players are born so going off trial and error but maybe should have chosen Chappell over Hammond.

I certainly wasn't paying too much attention to birthdates until I checked JOJOXI's chart. Recently I have checked potential selections to make sure they were eligible.

Like Hammond=June has a lot of other great June players but Chappell=August might not have so many.

From what I've seen its quite interesting how some of leading cricketers seem to be born in certain months compared to others. Another trend I noticed was arguably West Indies best 2 batsman both being born in May. It seems like a lot of quality cricketers born later in the year from what I've seen (that seems to be true for both hemispheres too so wonder if there is a wider reason for that.) Online it seems like Australia's school year starts in January as opposed to September in the UK - so presumably not the advantage of being a few months older and stronger carrying on from youth cricket.

Please keep shtum about players who haven't been picked. Even cryptically.
Removed inference to one specific player that hasn't been picked (albeit could've been 1 of about half a dozen) feel free to unquote otherwise reference will still be visible.
