Cricketer Of The Year
It's been a while since my first pick (8 days) and bowlers have been a prime target. I had both Donald and Davidson in my sights before bed last night. I'll have Pat Cummins (May) please.

@Krypto joins @AndrewB on the clock albeit with an extra half hour.

I believe players who are timed out shouldn't have their catch-up until the next round. Two players 'wasting' 8 hours is excessive.
They should be able to pick when they get back on - missing an entire round because you miss your pick wouldn't be fair. Normally at least one of the two who are up will pick and the draft will move on.

If anything is to change, it should be a reduction in the allocated time (6 hours instead of 8 or something like that). But that will cut things quite fine if their turn comes up in the middle of the night or something.

I think the best we can do if they haven't picked up their catch up pick until their turn in the next round; is not to wait for them. Like Kenneth Viljoen haven't picked a single pick in two rounds yet, I think waiting for him in the third round should only be of 4 hours or so; or if he picks both his picks before that.

You make good points. I guess I was frustrated by such a long wait between my first and second pick only to see 8 hours of inactivity after my selection. That plus the fact that just before my pick a catch-up snared my first choice.
