I'm calling Joe Root as most runs and Jadeja as most wickets

Yeah if England are playing 17 (I think someone said?) Root’s a pretty safe bet. Bowler could still be another country though.

All this shows is that Australia played nearly double the tests of everyone else so understandably topped the runs and wkts. So if England are playing 17 this year then pick two players from England

Exactly my thinking but I couldn't think of an English bowler that is likely to be consistently in the team let alone good enough to top the wickets list, even if they are playing so many more Tests than anyone else

Yeah Anderson seems past it, though it could depend on who/where they play, Broad’s gone and the rest are crap/super injury prone.

They should dump Leach then Root can get most runs and most wickets

NZ are scheduled for 13 (2 vs SA, 2 vs Aus, 1 vs Afg, 2 vs SL, 3 vs India, 3 vs Eng) which must be our most ever by miles. Only 4 in 2025 though.
