Well Gambhired.. just when your side needed it the most.It does look like Father Time has hit Australia's batting like a speed train. Warner's about to go, Khawaja's aging and doesn't have a front foot, Marnus seems to have forgotten the art of the play and miss, Smith is getting squared up like there's no tomorrow in contrast to even 12 months ago, Head is dangerous but has enough technical flaws that if you're willing to go against the grain in tactics you will usually get him out before he gets the chance to do much damage and while Marsh is #inform his lack of a forward defence will get him into trouble. There's **** all quality coming out of the Shield too to put pressure on these guys either (granted I don't think any of them should be dropped regardless bar maybe Warner who's already announced his retirement). If Marnus and Smith (and Smith in particular I'm not confident can) can't turn it around the batting starts to look really threadbare.
Australia really need a proper swing bowler. Please let Richardson stay fit.

Smiff runs like a girl
It was the last fifteen ****ing minutes. Its perfectly acceptable to play it out instead of holding off to mid off and look like a clownWilliamson and Root are more threatening off spinners than Salman but he still has Smith pinned down,
Now he is out in the last over of the day to Shaheen with the specialist fielder Salman taking another catch,
give it a rest you're making Starfighter look like a well-adjusted friendly and positive cricket fan by comparisonWilliamson and Root are more threatening off spinners than Salman but he still has Smith pinned down,

Had it been Williamson, the same bloke would be wanking hard over grit and determination obvsgive it a rest you're making Starfighter look like a well-adjusted friendly and positive cricket fan by comparison
Yeah for the most part his strike rate was irrelevant with the only important thing being maintenance of wickets and rebuilding. Can’t fault Smith for being defensive at pretty much any point in this innings
I think he basically decided to play for tomorrow, especially after Marsh got out.Yeah for the most part his strike rate was irrelevant with the only important thing being maintenance of wickets and rebuilding.
But seriously when Australia got back on top he could have been a bit more proactive. One run in the last hour of play is pretty pathetic by any standard.
