***Official*** India Tour of South Africa, 2023/24

Haha. Anyone watching on the supersport commentary?

One of the commentators mentioning the 50 coming up to Pommie: ''Pommie, you know the feeling of getting to your first 50''
Pommie: ''Not a chance''

Pommie has a test high score of 8 FTR and has never scored a 50 in any form of cricket.

Whatever it takes!!!
It was very interesting listening to Vern Philander on commentary about why Indian bowlers struggle in RSA and maybe even NZ. He talked about they predominantly get seam movement from a good height and how the Indian bowlers are always swing bowlers, which means the ball moves early and continues moving in that direction, helping batsmen be more prepared for it. Also with swing bowling, you tend to get a bit more floaty and further up in length which usually means they can score a lot of quick runs before they start tightening up.

Think that explains perfectly why we struggle in RSA and NZ with the kookaburra.

That really is such a bad shot. Thrown away two hours of good work by Bedingham and Elgar there.

I know SA cricket politics can be... Byzantine... at the best of times, but how on earth has Bedingham not played a Test before now? The bloke looks absolutely made for this level.
He would have been playing for England in a few years if they hadn't come to their senses and called him up for South Africa A.

I mean anyone buying furniture from Barker and Stonehouse isn't leaving England anyway. You need a mortgage to buy from their, no idea why I was in there.

Just disgraceful the way that England try to poach the best South African cricket talent, thank god NZ doesn't stoop to those lows.
