He's been in the white ball setup and in the IPL for years now. How have you never heard of him. Plus whatever site you found his FC stats on will have this info on it too, and you could easily find highlights of his bowling as well.

Yeah I don’t really watch LO stuff or follow it at all outside of the World Cup. I dont think I have ever watched an entire IPL game. I’ll have to look up his FC bowling highlights.

Its obvious Rohit has not moved on from the WC final loss. Our A team program has come to a standstill post the pandemic and the best guy to drive the whole feeder system is now put in the frontlines as the coach because Ravi Shastri once disciplined Ganguly. We bring this on ourselves.

Even now its obvious we should have Ashwin wheeling away at one end while we rotate the quicks in bursts at the other. But no, we gotta bowl ****ing Shardul.
Ash has this problem as well of not being able to play the role of the holding bowler in SENA. Maybe the mental adjustment is difficult but he surely should be asked to bowl tight, make the batsmen hit him if they want to, bowl dry and let the seamers attack at the other end.

Nothing is lost yet but you gotta bowl to a plan. Work on certain angles, always have a third man coz nothing frustrates teams and bowlers more than good balls going for 4 just because the batsmen played it soft or edged it in a gap. Trust your bowlers to bowl good balls, set a field for that, let the bad balls go for 4s, ask the bowlers to keep bowling the good balls even if they only beat the bat.
In a word, I dont think this team is fully focussed and you aint winning **** in test cricket away from home these days if you are not focussed.

It pains me to say this but the Lord of 2020 and 21 had a bit more zip about him, just seemed fitter and was running in harder and getting good shape with his swing, even if he kept bowling 1 or 2 bad balls an over. If this is what he has to offer now, we are better off playing both spinners and hoping they can control one end while we rotate the seamers at the other end.
