I reckon that was a premeditated leave from Phillips
He isn't the type of batsman you want coming in early against the new ball on a pitch that isn't a road but neither are Seifert or Finn Allen.

It might be a T20 but you still need batsmen that can handle good bowling on a pitch with something in it for the bowlers.

I was about to say Mitchell is one of the few batsmen in this line up that can handle it but he is gone now too.

Neesham is another guy that you don't want coming in this early on a helpful pitch for the bowlers.

Chapman needs to stand up here.

Moss

International Captain
I don’t know how you could watch Mark Chapman bat for even 5 minutes and think ‘Yep this guy needs to bat 7 in a ODI team’

**** Stead is a bum
On this particular issue, there was no where else to fit him in once Ravindra broke into the top 6.

More cavalier batting from Chapman against a spinner.

Not what was required at this stage, he just needed to knock it around for ones and twos rather than trying to clear the fence.

There is still 10 overs left but we wont even bat out those overs at this rate.
