Nandre Burger looks very very good. Would have loved to see Beyers Swanepoel, top top player and I'd go fsr as go say he's the closest thing to Vernon we have.
I was a little sceptical about Burger's selection as his domestic stats weren't screaming out for him to be picked (although I don't know what his recent form's been like), but he's certainly looked good. And I agree about Swanepoel as his being overlooked is starting to become hard to understand.

I swear if you toss a cricket ball to a random bloke on the street in SA, there’s as good a chance as not that he’ll be able to bowl it at 140kph plus. They seem to have a zillion of them.
Years back, I worked with a guy in England from somewhere in Southern Africa who said he could bowl 140+.

His surname was Burger.

It's as if these comms haven't watched Hendricks for any length of time. He does go through periods of being bogged down quite often.

I hope it’s just being treated as match practice / tryouts as opposed to trying to get the team balance right. Yadav at 8 is really bad.
idk if these jamodis arent being used to test the combination that hb points out in pressure free matches when will we?

Good to see Lizaad Williams is getting back to bowling in the 140's ..

Poor lad has suffered from a lot of injuries was a 90 mph bowler in his teens

Didn't see any of the game but very pleased for de Zorzi, he looked impressive in the last game before throwing his wicket away. SA have a good one there.
