Seriously, how good is Motie? Such a fantastic left arm spinner. Should be in ahead of Cariah every time.

Also can't help thinking how crazy good this batting lineup could be if Pooran and Hety hit form too.

Definitely a bowler light though, I don't think you can rely on 4 overs from Russell and get away with it every time.

It's so dire that everyone on CW has been able to see it for so long too.

It's not just West Indians, which could theoretically be the product of all sorts of things. Motie has the goods and it's been recognised.

If Pooran isn't keeping he can be the sixth bowler. For someone who never puts any time into it at all he's ****ing great at it.

If Hope is gonna keep in both white ball formats you can probably get Pooran to up skill quite easily.

Oh I don't know, seemed to galvanise them quite well in that particular series, Aus still can't win in England. They also beat NZ too.

Just the usual issues on the road (and always in the Windies).

Not just Buttler, Brook is as well. Then they leave out Duckett, the one guy who does look in form. They're making basic mistakes off the field as well. If this tour is about finding out about new players, why are we playing all the ones we already know about?

I’ve always said it…long before he made his international debut that he was top shelf. Top class.

To me, his quality is in the same category of a Rangana Herath.

Spin bowling talent spotting in the Caribbean is dreadful. For example, there are two very promising leggies at Under 19 level who both bowl excellent googlies in Vasant Singh and Micah Mckenzie. Have they been sent to the academy or put on any sort of programme? Of course not.

It didn't help that Brook came in at 6 yesterday, with no time to have a look at the bowling before trying to take it apart. He should bat at 3 in these games so, on a good day, he can really make it count. As I've said before, Jacks may as well bat at 6 or 7 where his quick 20s might actually be useful.
