yeah in fairness you do see those kind of catches dropped a lot. usually not quite like that though

Jesus, that looks even worse on replay. Especially with the commentators saying it was a tough one. Give me a break ffs.
It wasn't that easy but the problem isn't that it was a dolly. The technique was truly truly pathetic. He had 0 chance of catching it in the end. Closed his eyes and had his hands way apart.

I mean the reason he closed his eyes was because he realised he was about to eat a cricket ball at 60km/h and that momentarily took over his brain instead of "catch the ball"

So easy catch, the wrong person going for it, awful misjudgement, awful catching technique, let it go for four, would have been a debutant's first wicket. Am I missing anything?
