Agree, but when a ref is giving out yellows for fun (he gave 10 in the match) you don't go and commit a foul like that when a team is on the counter.
You can call it as soft as you like but it was consistent with how the game was being officiated.

Sounds right to me, and when you're trying to hold on to a lead against a far superior team then keeping 11 players on the pitch seems something of a a pre-requisite unless absolutely unavoidable. Fine the stupid ****er a month's wages imo.

Yeah we signed him in Jan and he wasn’t in any sort of fitness at all until late September. Been gradually getting up to speed under Adkins and is now bossing every game
