Always odd when they don't bowl jacks he spins the ball, means we don't have to bowl a useless seamer like Potts or Carse

How does jacks actually go as a bowler? I always thought he was a t20 darts merchant, but he's had a few decent performances with the ball at international level so far.

He's not great, but TBH, there's a case to be made that on a turning pitch he may be decent, in England he's crap, but our seamers aren't awful; there.

Clutch overs from Shepherd when it looked like the WIndies were about to blow it.

Killer spell from Jacks too. Unlucky that he had so few runs on the board to play with.

Decent action, turns it when he gives it some air, but usually doesn't bother as you said.

honestly the bowling attack is more of an a hole than a whole, not sure you can read too much into any single performance as we saw from zero to hero and back to hero again

bizarre use of the bowling, but then buffet Livingstone did finish the game off quickly, usually ok but surely when you are playing some main bowlers like eg Curran Z-H-Z, you expect them to take a fair chunk of the bowling load

problem is England batting, not for the first time in recent months, went to pots, England simply don't have the bowlers to dig them out of a holes

Now and forever.

First series win against England since 1998
whilst it would have been stupid to take the same players that failed miserably in the World Cup the second string, and Curran who apparently is soooooo good off the back of one performance he can't be dropped - even though he was at said WC - were not great.

wasn't much learned about England wasn't already known, not that England do learning, more wild guesswork and recall their buddies to the clique and retain captain butthead despite the guy not having a scooby doo

I read a conversation elsewhere where someone suggested that Shai Hope's a much better captain than Buttler, leading to the immediate response that Bob Hope was a better cricket captain than Buttler.

Where to start?

You can always rely on England to save their worst cricket for the W Indies! I swear we play better in Australia, we just have tougher competition.

Hopefully, Buttler plays no cricket after the T20's until the IPL. He clearly needs a break. But let down by the batsmen this time. I don't see Salt making it as an International Cricketer, just gets out to too many stupid shots, often when set. I'm wondering if it's time to can the Livingstone experiment in ODI's, unless someone can transplant some cricketing intelligence into his brain.

More seamer rubbish, good to see Archer training out there with the squad, maybe there's hope....
